IL GIARDINO DELLA POESIA - IL CIRCOLO DEL GIUDIZIO. CINEMA E POESIA, TELEVISIONE E LETTERATURA

At the** Casa Pascoli Garden**, the festival comes to a close with Il Circolo del Giudizio: cinema and poetry, television and literature, featuring Gianfranco Miro Gori and readings by Annalisa Teodorani.

In the immediate postwar period, a group of young people formed in Santarcangelo—later known as the Circolo del Giudizio—who soared beyond the confines of their “little homeland” to make a name for themselves both at home and abroad in poetry, cinema, television, and literature. Their names were: Tonino Guerra, Nino Pedretti, Flavio Nicolini, Lello Baldini, Gianni Fucci, and Rina Macrelli, Gianfranco Miro Gori, drawing on his book Il Circolo del Giudizio.

Cinema, Poetry, Television, and Literature—which will be available at the event—will recount their story, accompanied by readings by Santarcangelo-born poet Annalisa Teodorani.

All events are free of charge, subject to availability. In case of inclement weather, the performances at Casa Pascoli will be held at the Sala Gramsci (Via Nenni, 2).

On performance nights at the Casa Pascoli Garden, visitors will be able to tour the poet’s birthplace.
