Pascoli Poetry Park
The Parco Poesia Pascoli ideally brings together the two places of memory and poetry associated with Giovanni Pascoli: Villa Torlonia (also known as La Torre) and the poet’s birthplace, now the Museo Casa Pascoli.
From the small town of San Mauro — a place of remembrance that profoundly inspired Pascoli’s poetics — his poetry expands to embrace the whole of Romagna, representing it in all its complexity. It is a body of work that not only moves the reader, but also offers a key through which the identity of an entire territory may be understood and interpreted.
