DOCUMENTATION AND CONSULTATION CENTER FOR PASCOLI'S HERITAGE

In 2022, the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli paid tribute to the poet Giovanni Pascoli by inaugurating what has become an important cultural center of interest in Italy. A place open to the public where you can find everything about Pascoli, dedicated to research, poetry, and study.

The Pascoli Heritage Documentation and Consultation Center preserves and makes available to the public all the heritage acquired by the municipal management of the Casa Pascoli Museum: collections of bibliographic, photographic, and documentary interest. In addition to housing the Pascoli library, consisting of volumes and magazines often sent to San Mauro by the poet himself, the Center preserves precious archives, the result of donations and acquisitions that are available to the public.

Here, over 7,000 volumes, documents, magazines, and autographs are preserved for learning about and studying Pascoli's heritage. Visitors can explore the key moments of his life in a simple and guided way, understand his connection to the territory, and discover how much his cultural legacy is still alive today. An ideal experience for those seeking an encounter with the history of the town.
